Hi there! I’m Dominique Vogler, a freelance artist, illustrator, and animator originally from Venezuela, now happily based in Aotearoa, New Zealand.
After earning my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the Central University in Caracas, Venezuela, I’ve been on an incredible journey pursuing my passion. Over the years, I’ve worked on personal projects, commissioned artworks, and a variety of creative endeavors like product design, logos, motion graphics, character animation, and more.
My love for travel has taken me across the globe—from Europe to Australia, with a year in Africa and Indonesia—until I finally found my home in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, where I’ve been living with my wonderful family for the past nine years.
During this time, I’ve grown so much as an illustrator and animator, taking courses and mastering tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Animate), Cinema 4D, Blender, and more.
My artwork is all about vibrant colors and sketch-like textures, with a hand-drawn, artistic feel. When it comes to animation, I especially love working in 2D and frame-by-frame techniques.
There’s nothing more fulfilling for me than bringing people’s ideas to life—whether on paper, canvas, or in digital form.
:)
